This is a vintage or antique very pretty tea dyed  tambour lace on cotton net lace. I think it dates to the early 1930 / 1940. The thick padded embroidery  looks like silk thread and the design shows up even more now its been tea dyed ,   It is transparent so it would have been worn over a petticoat or slip. It is in perfect antique condition, clean and gorgeous, I can only find 2 tiny tiny holes, and they were hard to find. . It was  obviously well stored I just adore these old fabrics and today Daisy is wearing her very old vintage ensemble that I made for her out of this stunning lace ,it comes with tea dyed slip and pants and a old world tea dyed bonnet
